Nuke's hopes and dreams are all in front of him, while Crash, who is helping Nuke learn the game, sees his career as a baseball player coming to an end.

Dietrich, in her last film appearance, pops in long enough to sing the title melody. Rome's vigorous performance gives lift to choppy film.
