Witty Parodies on Lost

By J. D Theis

A simple parody on lost lasts on an average between five minutes to seven minutes but have you ever thought about the level of genius that works behind creating a lost parody?? Kudos to the fine brothers for coming up with one hilarious lost parody after another for over three years now.

The concept pioneered by them became so popular that even the ABC guys felt obliged to encash on it. well they dint go on to make spoof on their best-ever in house produced show, but they did utilize the concept of narrating the saga of lost through 'action figures', an idea hit upon by the FineBrothers for creating the parody on lost. The ABC came up with Lost Untangled, a weekly series that recounts the events that have happened on the lost in the previous episodes.

Coming to the element of genius and innovative thinking contained in a typical parody on lost, it is certain that the makers are an ardent followers of not only lost, but also the show and the series with they create a spoof on it. for instance, the star trek parody had me in splits with Zachary Quinto aka spock of star trek visiting the enchanted island but in costumes of Sylar, on of the gifted hero of the heroes, the famous saga of the people with mysterious powers and how their combined forces are bent upon saving the earth.

When Sulu saw him, she was also not able to figure out whether he was spock's or not. Finally spocks ended up muttering same actor wrong toy. This is just an example as to what extent the spoof of lost can go to generate interest of the viewers. Before the launch of the parody on lost it was mentioned by the makers that lost parody can be a mixture of many other shows and series.
