Nearly everybody agrees that the best time to visit this site is during the spring equinox. The spring equinox in this area is an archeoastronmical phenomenon that occurs on March 21st. During the equinox, when the shines equally on the Northern and Southern hemispheres, a serpent shaped projection from the sun can be seen as the sun sets.
