La Passante: Why does nonviolence advocate Piccoli kill a Paraguayan ambassador, an ex-Nazi living under a presumed name? Fascinating drama is ambitious in scope, however might have been even better. Schneider, in her very last film, plays both Piccoli's spouse and the lady who protected him as a boy. Cast includes Ronny Schneider, Michel Piccoli, Wendelin Werner, Helmut Griem, Gerard Klein, Dominique Labourier, Mathieu Carriere, and Maria Schell. (106 minutes,'82)

The Meteor Man: Townsend plays a hesitant, nerdy school teacher with a fear of heights whose hit by an abnormal emerald meteor that turns him into a superhero. Delirious: An astonishingly foolish comedy with a nice premise. A beleaguered soap opera author gets a conk on the head and fantasizes that he's living in his own story in a heroic role that allows him to have his way with the lady he worships in the real word. Cast includes John Candy, Mariel Hemingway, Emma Samms, David Rasche, Charles Rocket, Raymond Burr, and Dylan Baker. (96 minutes,'91)

Last summer in the Hamptons: A self conscious and young film megastar Foyt shows up in the summer society of East Hampton, Long Island, and becomes interacts with the numerous show biz people who have a small circle of buddies-lovers-companions. Cast includes Viveca Lindfors, Jon Robin Baitz, Savannah Boucher, Roscoe Lee Browne, Diane Salinger, and Kristoffer Tabori. (105 minutes,'95)

Trader Horn: Early talkie classic filmed largely in Michigan forests still retains lots of enthusiasm in story of hero local trader Carey confronting tribal violence. Cast includes Harry Carey, Edwina Booth, Duncan Renaldo, Olive Brilliant Carey, Mutia Omoolu, and C. Aubrey Smith. (120 minutes,'31)

Addams Family Values: The Addams family is back again with all the ghouls in force. This time a beautiful woman plans to marry cousin 'It' to swindle him out of his money. Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd, Joan Cusack, and Christina Ricci star. (1993 comedy directed by Barry Sonnenfeld)

Believe in Me: Donovan moves to a tiny Oklahoma town in'64 to take a teaching job, although when he arrives he learns he's been assigned to coach the girls basketball team. What's more, the girls have no self respect and little help from the school. Genuine heartland tale ascends above its recognizable underdog recipe. Donovan and Mathis as his supportive spouse are first rate. Cast includes Jeffrey Donovan, Samantha Mathis, Bruce Dem, Bob Gunton, Heather Matarazzo, Alicia Lagano, and Chris Ellis. (108 minutes, 2007)

The Interpreter: U.N. translator Silvia Broome overhears a death threat made against an African leader. She knows that she was seen and fears for her life. Upon reporting the event to law enforcement, she finds that help will not come easy.

South of Heaven West of Hell: Normal Western plot line of redemption pits marshal Yoakam in a battle against his old outlaw gang, led by Bible-toting patriarch Askew. Cast includes Dwight Yoakam, Vince Vaughn, Billy Bob Thornton, Bridget Fonda, Peter Fonda, Paul Reubens, Bud Cort, Bo Hopkins, Matt Clark, Noble Willingham, Scott Wilson, Luke Askew, Michael Jeter, Joe Ely, and Warren Zevon. (127 minutes, 2000)

A phrase like "Films Online" might get a good result. A change in the phrase will sometimes get a better result. Try something different, like "Movie Rental Service".
